Magic City is an American drama television series created by Mitch Glazer for the Starz network. Starz renewed the series for an eight-episode second season on March 20, 2012, and canceled it August 5, 2013, after two seasons. Set in 1959 Miami, Florida, shortly after the Cuban Revolution, Magic City tells the story of Ike Evans (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), the owner of Miami's most glamorous hotel, the Miramar Playa

As Magic City Hippies approach the Aug. 16 release of their standout debut album Modern Animal - a mosaic of poolside grooves and lingering, sun-kissed melodies - the trio’s origin story remains central to its crowd-pleasing mission statement. Still unsigned and completely independent in their approach, Magic City Hippies pushed distractions aside and worked tirelessly towards their first LP. We’ve been touring for three years, Hunter says. The album has a lot to do with the toll it's taken on our relationships and lives. No kidding: Robby was fired from a full-time job and ended a relationship of over eight years. Swirling single SPF comes to terms with a cheating partner through beams of Toro Y Moi-inspired Auto-Tune and bass licks.

Dance Magic is a song featured in the Equestria Girls special of the same name. It first appeared as the fourth track on the soundtrack album My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Friendship Games - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack. Director Ishi Rudell initially stated on Twitter that the song is "unrelated" to My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Friendship Games. Snippets of the song are also heard in the background twice in Mirror Magic. I feel it stirrin' deep down inside my soul.

By day the hotel at the center of 'Magic City' is all diving clown acts and cha-cha lessons by the pool, but at night Miami Beach reveals a darker truth. Dopers, dealers, strippers, gangsters and those who arrest them drift together to hear the top nightclub acts perform. Just beneath the surface, racial tensions stir. Ike must deal with all of this, even while global intrigue is brewing right under his roof. Plot Summary Plot Synopsis.
