Daniel Dominik Kaiser-Küblböck (born 27 August 1985; disappeared 9 September 2018) was a German pop singer and actor who achieved celebrity status in 2002 as a participant in the first season of television talent show Deutschland sucht den Superstar (DSDS), the German version of Pop Idol, in which he came third. Küblböck invested the proceeds from his album Positive Energie amounting to around one million euros in a solar plant in Lower Bavaria, which brought him high profits. In September 2003, he launched a perfume line for boys and girls in three fragrances under his name. From 2005 to the end of 2013, he was managing director of the sales company Positive. Energie GmbH Daniel Küblböck, with which he marketed his person 2018 disappearance.
He was briefly promoted as Daniel K, but reverted to Daniel Küblböck when it emerged that this name had already been trademarked.
On 24 February 2004, Daniel Küblböck caused a car crash with a truck, which received nationwide media attention. He suffered serious injuries. Küblböck was fined €25,000 and sentenced to eight hours of social work for driving without a license.

Daniel Küblböck, a famous openly gay German pop-singer, is thought to have jumped off of a AIDA Cruise ship this weekend, possibly to his death. AIDA Cruises determined Küblböck was missing on Sunday morning after a cabin check and loudspeaker announcements from the cruise line. So far, he hasn’t been found. Küblböck was most famous for coming in third on the first season of the German reality singing competition Pop Idol in 2002. He also appeared in the reality TV survival competition I’m a Celebrit. et Me Out of Here! in 2004, the German version of Big Brother in 2005 and the German version of the dancing competition Let’s Dance in 2015.
