Following the success of his Woodstock performance, Havens started his own record label, Stormy Forest, and released Stonehenge in 1970. Later that year came Alarm Clock, which included the George Harrison-penned hit single, "Here Comes the Sun". This was Havens' first album to reach Billboard's Top 30 Chart. Stormy Forest went on to release four more of his albums: The Great Blind Degree (1971), Live On Stage (1972), Portfolio (1973), and Mixed Bag II (1974). Memorable television appearances included performances on The Ed Sullivan Show and The Tonight Show Starring.

Here Comes the Sun" is a song written by George Harrison that was first released on the Beatles' 1969 album Abbey Road. Along with "Something" and "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", it is one of Harrison's best-known compositions from the Beatles era. The song was written at the country house of his friend Eric Clapton, where Harrison had chosen to play truant for the day, to avoid attending a meeting at the Beatles' Apple Corps organisation.

Here Comes The Sun Alarm Clock (Stormy Forest Records, 1971). Imbuing George Harrison’s Abbey Road classic with campfire exuberance, Havens’ stripped down the production giving the hippie anthem such immediacy it’s as if he’d just picked up the guitar and started playing spontaneously. Opening the 1971 album Alarm Clock, this was one of Havens’ best-known covers but unusually featured as the only track on the LP Havens didn’t write himself. What About Me? The Great Blind Degree (Stormy Forest Records, 1971).

Now the sun it comes up and lights up the day, And when he gets tired, Lord, he goes on down his way, To the east and to the west, He meets God every day. Lord, look at me here, I'm rooted like a tree here, Got those sit-down, can't cry Oh Lord, gonna die blues. html Now I had a woman Lord, she lived down by the mine, She ain't never seen the sun, Oh Lord, never stopped trying
Younger Men Grow Older Lyrics. Wish I was a younger man" Said the old man to the young man Oh, I told you what I would do. That is if I could find something to do I never did before Because the younger men Grow older everyday. But I feel if we don't plan ahead We surely will need a helping hand 'Cause younger men Grow older everyday. Wish I could see my children grow And doing what they want to do Oh, that is all I am living for. But if you don't tell them How to do what they want to do You find out that Younger men grow older everyday. Wished we had not wrecked the land By understanding without a plan And wastin' all those lives, yeah, yeah. So if we do not say it now We may never ever survive To hear them say Younger men grow older everyday.
