In 1986 Maestro created a new alias for himself, Nu Sound II Crew, by adding a roman numeral II to his former DJ crew name. That year he self-released his first 12" single "The Speed Of Light" on Sound Wave Records. Only 500 copies were made and distributed by Juan Atkins' Metroplex Records. Influenced by Kraftwerk and Cybotron, Nu Sound II Crew created fresh, fast, dark electro beats with tough drum machines and lyrics about traveling through outer space.

Wings at the Speed of Sound is the fifth studio album by Wings, released on 25 March 1976 as a follow-up to their previous album Venus and Mars. Issued at the height of the band's popularity, it reached the top spot on the US album chart and peaked at number 2 on the UK album chart. Both singles from the album also reached the top 5 of the UK and US singles charts, with 'Silly Love Songs' reaching number 1 in the US.

Of their three post-reunion albums so far, The Sound the Speed the Light sounds the most industrious, the most like another day at the office. There's nothing surprising here, and some songs are so signature-styled you might wonder if you've heard them before. But when it comes to office work, Burma's day beats most bands' years. So the lack of surprise also means a lack of flaws, and a lot of energy and power. When these guys punch the clock, they take the phrase literally.

Which speed is faster, light or the speed of sound? Have have ever seen the lightening in the sky during the monsoon months or any ther time. This is usually followed by the roll of thunder. But either way, Light always goes faster than Sound because no information can exceed the speed of light or else it would violate causality. Here you go. First new track since 2008. Imagine all the wonders that may lie in the furthest corners of the universe, just waiting to be discovered. This track is my vision of this journey, and all the things one would see on the way to finding his answer.

Bleu winds up with an album that plays with the sex removed; he has the shimmering synths, the chilly sound, but he's still singing about puppy love, he's still a teen idol. The same can also be said of Speed of Light as a whole: so much of the album is draped in threads borrowed from that it's easy to overlook the lingering elements of Radio Disney, even when the strongest reminder, "Moments That Matter," arrives at the beginning of the record.

Definately one of the best and also one of the rarest Detroit Electro 12's!!!! 2 great tracks, but expecially "The Speed of Light" is really an Electro Bomb. Fresh fast Electro Beats, amazing melodies....and at least super fresh typical Detroit Electro Rap.This one is distributed by Metroplex Records, so it seems that it must be easy to find, but it is definately really hard to find!I did this mistake some years ago, someone offered it to me for 100 $ and I said no, I thought it must be easy to find, so why pay that high amount!!! Years lates I realised that it was a big mistake Lol...so I paid more now....hhah! This is how it goes sometimes, but trust me, definately a great record! Very collectable in any case!PeaceFab

the lyrics are amazing and the delivery is strangely shy and relaxed. i like the space shaker sound and new wave touches.
