This album is based on the performances in Moscow, S. Petersburg and Yaroslavl, during the Russian tour organized by Monochrome Vision. The concept of Stif(f)le is to create a virtual world based on the use of digital technology. Since first performance, nearly 25 years ago, progress has been made by P231 in creating and controlling the performance in a real time environment. The equipment consists of a single laptop, connected through MIDI to an upper torso exoskeleton and a data projector displaying the visual in sync with the sound feed.
During these years Pierre has expanded his fields of interest, aiming to innovate and explore new paths still maintaining ties with the original creative period. In 2007 he realized a studio work in collaboration with Rapoon ( Palestine ), and now is the time of live material, taken from a Russian tour organized in the same year by Monochrome Vision.
