Started by Walter Giardino after the split-up of Rata Blanca in early 1998. When Adrián Barilari replaced to Norberto Rodríguez on vocals, they decided to resurrect Rata Blanca, as Barilari is the most traditional singer in Rata Blanca. The band was re-activated in 2012 and 2016 for some shows with Joe Lynn Turner as special guest while Javier Barrozo took care of the songs in Spanish.

Héctor Walter Giardino (born March 6, 1960) is an Argentine guitarist, songwriter and leader of the heavy metal and hard rock band Rata Blanca. In 1981 Walter Giardino as a guitarist and vocalist founded Punto Rojo with Gustavo Andino (drums) and Roberto Cosseddu (bass). The band was successful on the under scene but never recorded an album. The band was dissolved in 1984.
