It could fit well on his masterpiece Bete Noire. There are even two songs from his 1999 album As Time Goes By(I have since come to like it some) which have a very 30s or 40s vibe to them. Personally I feel glad I have this great collection of great ballads from a great singer. This album is worth having just for Is Your Love Strong Enough with it's haunting ambient intro and the ambient rock guitar aways and for the great cover version of the classic Crazy Love. 4 people found this helpful.

Bryan Ferry CBE (born 26 September 1945) is an English singer and songwriter. His voice has been described as an "elegant, seductive croon". He also established a distinctive image and sartorial style; according to The Independent, Ferry and his contemporary David Bowie influenced a generation with both their music and their appearances. Peter York described Ferry as "an art object" who "should hang in the Tate".

Street Life and More Than This were both grab bags of Roxy Music singles and material from Bryan Ferry's solo career. While it's logical to assume that fans of one artist would certainly be interested in the other, the approach never made for a unified compilation - Roxy Music's sound shifted quite a bit over the years, and their earlier, edgier singles never sat well next to the smooth balladeering of Ferry's companion career

Bryan Ferry - Frantic (2002). Date: 4 Oct 2017 00:00:40. Frantic manages to touch upon virtually every musical style of Bryan Ferry's career. Ferry has proved to be as interested in covering other artists' material as penning original songs, and he straddles a smart mix of originals and covers here. Roxy Music fans will find more reasons to rejoice with the superb album closer, "I Thought," which was co-written with Brian Eno, who sings backing vocals and plays keyboards.

The Bride Stripped Bare is a 1978 solo album by Bryan Ferry and is his fifth album released independent of Roxy Music. It was recorded after his girlfriend Jerry Hall left him for Mick Jagger in 1977, and appears to contain references to their break-up. The album peaked at number 13 on the albums chart in the United Kingdom. Although critically acclaimed, the album didn't achieve the success it was expected as it was released in the peak of punk rock.

One Way Love" sees the Drifters' song reworked as a squall of distorted guitars and keyboards.
