Joe Pass - For Django. Imported ed. Import, Remastered. The instrument sounds are great, Joe Pass' tone is round and warm like always, bass sounds strong yet a bit unresonant, drums sound very good for a '64 recording and the rhythm guitarist has a good tone as well. The comping is relaxed, and Pass displays his trademark virtuosic playing and high invention, but (likely due to the comp-guitarist) with no chord melody solos.
