Vitamin C" is a song by the krautrock band Can on their 1972 album Ege Bamyasi. It is notable for its thick bass line, bouncy percussion, and catchy chorus, which has Damo Suzuki repeating the line "Hey you! You're losing your Vitamin C". Considering its short length and relatively standard song structure, it is one of the band's more conventional songs.
And just when it seems that she can't pull one more hook from her bag of tricks, Fitzpatrick delivers the provocatively playful "About Last Night" and the nostalgic, string-laced "Graduation (Friends Forever). She even takes an admirable stab at the Split Enz classic "I Got Yo. There's not a weak track on this stellar record.
Her daddy got a big aeroplane Her mommy holds all the family cash A beautiful rose is standing at the corner She is living in and out of tune. Hey you! You’re losing, you’re losing, you’re losing, you’re losing your vitamin C! Hey you You’re losing, you’re losing, you’re losing, you’re losing your vitamin C! Your vitamin C. A monster press machine is on her body She's stepping on quicksand A beautiful rose is standing at the corner She is living in and out of tune. Ege Bamyasi’s hit single Vitamin C blends together eerie pop hooks with some psychadelic vocal cuts. Suzuki goes from shy whispers to bizarre shouting as the epic drum playing carries most of the song. Vitamin C" Track Info. Written By Damo Suzuki, Irmin Schmidt, Jaki Liebezeit & 2 more. Vitamin C is a great singer and some people don't apreciate the meaning to "THE ITCH". Everyone took the thought of the song literally and were thinking of masquito bite, ect. The meaning of the song is cool and makes me love the song even more, and it flows more to the fact that someone is needing something or want something they had before and wan't back. The big heart stealer of this single is that is has a Remix of "THE ITCH". Graduation (Friends Forever) This is Vitamin C' strong hit and by the looks of it, off her upcoming album "MORE" I'm sure she'll have at least a couple strong hits hopfully toping this one. The Itch (DJ Scribbles Club Mix) This remix is just great being that it is the only remix that Vitamin C put out for The Itch. The beats to this are pretty funky, yet it doesn't sound anything similar to the original.
Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin that’s found in many foods, particularly fruits and vegetables. It’s well known for being a potent antioxidant, as well as having positive effects on skin health and immune function. It’s also vital for collagen synthesis, connective tissue, bones, teeth and your small blood vessels (1, 2). The human body cannot produce or store vitamin C. Therefore, it’s essential to consume it regularly in sufficient amounts.
Getting more vitamin C in your diet can be as simple as including a few extra servings of foods that have vitamin C in your meals each day. By switching up your menu to include more vitamin C rich fruits and veggies, it can be easy (and delicious) to meet your daily needs. Try adding a side salad full of vitamin C vegetables to one meal per day, or swap your sweet snacks for a fresh fruit salad instead. Today, vitamin C deficiency is much more rare. Vitamin C is not stored in the body and excess amounts are excreted, so overdosing on this water-soluble vitamin is not generally a concern.
