ABBA is the third (second internationally) studio album by the Swedish pop group of the same name. It was originally released on 21 April 1975 through Polar Music and featured the hits "Mamma Mia" and "SOS". Following the Eurovision success of "Waterloo", ABBA saw the band gaining worldwide recognition. I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do" topped the charts in Australia, as did "Mamma Mia" shortly after. SOS" and "Mamma Mia" became hits in both the United States and the United Kingdom.

ABBA are considered one of the biggest pop bands of all time and one of the biggest dance bands as well. This ABBA discography is ranked from best to worst, so the top ABBA albums can be found at the top of the list. To make it easy for you, we haven't included ABBA singles, EPs, solo projects by its members, or compilations, so everything you see here should only be studio albums.

ABBA: Acronym of the first letters of their first names. They became one of the most commercially successful acts in the history of popular music, topping the charts worldwide from 1974 to 1982. ABBA won the Eurovision Song Contest 1974 at The Dome in Brighton, UK, giving Sweden its first triumph in the contest. They are the most successful group to have taken part in the competition. Dancing Queen, The Winner Takes It All, Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight) и другие песни. Вся дискография, Радио, Концерты, рекомендации и похожие исполнители.

The album includes three songs from ABBA’s 1977 tour mini-musical The Girl with the Golden Hair. These songs are Thank You for the Music, I Wonder (Departure) and I’m a Marionette. Altogether the album contained just nine songs-the least of any ABBA album, but were longer in length than previous albums (opening track Eagle runs to nearly six minutes). The Album reached No. 1 in many territories. In the UK it debuted at the top and remained there for seven weeks, ending up as the third biggest selling album of the year (behind the movie soundtrack LPs of Saturday Night Fever and Grease)

ABBA co-founder Björn Ulvaeus has hinted that the band could release a new album - 37 years after the release of their last, The Visitors. Speaking to A List he said: A new album, possibly. Or four songs or something like that - that’s possible. But for us to perform on stage that’s just not going to happen. Ulvaeus, 73, recently reunited with bandmates Agnetha Fältskog, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad to write and record new songs, one of which, I Still Have Faith In You, will debut on the BBC in December.
