Mao Sareth (Khmer: ម៉ៅ សារ៉េត pronounced ) was a Cambodian musician producing work from 1950-1970's. Mao was born in 1944 in the Battambang District that is currently Thmar Kol. Her birth name was Pol Sarann. Her work is influenced from western music blended with Khmer instrumentation. She has performed with Sin Sisamouth in the Sangkum Reastr Niyum Regime. Along with most of the popular music singers of the era, she was killed by the Khmer Rouge during the Cambodian Civil War.

Damnation is the seventh full-length studio album by progressive rock band Opeth. It was released on 22 April 2003, five months after Deliverance, which was recorded at the same time. Damnation was produced by Steven Wilson. Mikael Åkerfeldt dedicated both albums to his grandmother, who died in a car accident during the time the albums were being recorded.
